DELTA has received reports of users having difficulty performing certain functions within Moodle and Wolfware. We believe this was related to a filesystem that filled up due to an automated copy operation. The filesystem size has been increased and services should be responding normally.

There was an issues with a server that caused Moodle forum emails to not be sent. DELTA staff has investigated the problem and a fix is in place. As of 9pm yesterday 11/8, forum emails seem to be flowing correctly again and all backlog should have been processed and sent. If you have any subsequent problems please let DELTA know.

Conversion of Moodle Assignment files to PDFs for annotated grading has been temporarily disabled. Problems started showing late Sunday / early Monday with the conversions hanging and it is now negatively impacting the whole Moodle service.<br /> <br /> DELTA staff are investigating the problem but we currently have no estimate when this feature will be turned back on.

Around 1pm today, some Mediasite users were unable to view their presentations. This was caused by system administrator error. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

DELTA staff will be restarting SAN controllers between 6:00 - 7:00 am on August 26th, 2017. This will cause a very brief (less than 1 minute) interruption to IO. Most users should not see any interruption due to caching.

DELTA staff will update Collaborate to allow users to better manage large numbers of sessions and recordings. There should be minimal downtime during the update period. The update is only expected to take a few minutes, but the larger window is reserved for unexpected occurrences and to coordinate around other maintenance being performed.

DELTA staff will be performing maintenance on the WolfWare and Moodle services Friday, August 4th. The new WolfWare Email and WolfWare Wordpress will go into production, Moodle will be updated to version 3.2.4, and updates will be made to the WolfWare interface. Additionally the versions of PHP and MySQL on the servers will be updated, and most servers will be rebooted to install the latest Linux kernels.
