Teaching Exceptional Students in the Mainstreamed Classroom

Course Description

This course is designed to prepare preservice educators to teach students with disabilities. Specific methodologies that relate to the theory and practice of teaching students with disabilities in inclusive classrooms will be examined. When fieldwork in schools and related settings is required to supplement the instruction, students are responsible for transportation to and from the approved/assigned settings.
