Course Description
This course provides a rigorous introduction to fundamentals of numerical analysis, with emphasis on linear and nonlinear solvers: Direct and iterative solution of systems of linear algebraic equations, solution in the sense of least squares, fast methods, computation of eigenvectors/eigenvalues, numerical optimization, solution of nonlinear equations.
