Course Description
Interdisciplinary examination and appraisal of ethical and social issues emerging in the biological and medical sciences, such as abortion, euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, compromised infants, reproductive and genetic technologies, and access to health care. Focus on factual details and value questions, fact-value interplay, and questions of impact assessment and policy formulation.
