Course Description
This course examines how accounting data and analytics support decision-making within organizations. Students work with financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to understand how accounting information is used within organizations. Through simulations and applied exercises, the course examines the processes and tools used in accounting and finance functions to produce information for managers and executives. The course emphasizes how analytics supports planning, monitoring performance, and improving business operations.
