Course Description
First semester of a two-semester sequence in introductory, calculus-based physics with included laboratory experiences. This course introduces the fundamental principles of mechanics through a study of momentum, energy, and angular momentum. Other fundamental phenomena (such as oscillations and heat transfer) are also studied. Note: Some programs do not allow for more than one of PY 201, PY 205, or PY 211 to be counted for credit toward degree requirements.
