Course Description
This course introduces students to the science of psychology in sport and exercise settings. This course considers both historical and contemporary developments in sport and exercise psychology throughout the world and examines the psychological foundations of physical activity and sport. Topics include motivation, mental preparation, the arousal performance relationship, exercise adherence, and mental health.
