Course Description
Study of the structures and variation within English (especially morphology and syntax) essential for education professionals to effectively navigate multicultural educational spaces. Specific attention is paid to differences between print and oral conventions of language use; error analysis; school and classroom language policy; and the application of linguistics to teaching reading and writing. Intended for English Education majors.
