Course Description
Students will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the speech and hearing mechanisms including the muscular, skeletal, and nervous system structures involved in respiration, phonation, and articulation. This knowledge may be applied in clinical fields such as speech-language pathology or serve as the basis for the study of linguistic phonetics.
