Course Description

Introduction to the basic elements and principles of three genres of creative writing: poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Students will read literature in all three genres from a range of cultural, social, and geographic backgrounds. Students will also read and engage in the discussion of peers' work. Recommended for students with no prior experience in creative writing.
