Course Description
Together, BSC 497 and BSC 498 provide a two-semester sequence for honors projects conducted by students in good standing in the Department of Biological Sciences (DBS) Honors Program. Before enrollment in BSC 497, honors students (1) identify a project in consultation with a faculty mentor, (2) work with that mentor to complete a contract describing the expectations for their work together in BSC 497, and (3) have the contract approved by the DBS Honors Program Committee. The approved contract will describe the specific requirements and expectations of the BSC 497 experience. Departmental approval required.
